This could be my favorite tool but it’s not. Love the concept and function. Hate the cantankerous behavior of it. Will not fire consistently with anything but a genuine Ryobi battery. That’s not a deal breaker but the need to lubricant the striker so often and clear such frequent jambs is maddening. Also, keep your finger off the light/ready button till ready to shoot. Otherwise it may misfire.

Product was supposed to be renewed and rebuilt like new. This product failed on the first try and never worked after that. I am disappointed that the vendor will not honor a refund or a return.

To be honest, I didn't realize I had ordered a renewed product, but after receiving it in odd packaging I was well aware. I immediately threw a battery in and started testing. Light came on and the compressor kicked, perfectly slamming a brad nail into a piece of wood. Item was clean and free of visual defects, works perfectly and am ultimately very happy with purchase.

The actual brad nailer itself works just fine, as good as new. However, it said there may be only minor marks on it as it is refurbished, but on the side of the main body is a very large word ‘REFURB’ that has been melted into the plastic body.The description also said it would come with a battery included, which it didn’t.I won’t return it as it works just fine and I already have a few Ryobi batteries from other tools, but to sell something that isn’t as was described is not what you would expect from Amazon.
