Although it says “Makita” it is not exactly the actual brand. On the other side, the nailer is as good as the real thing. Well balanced and its striking accuracy is superb. It fires 3/4 inch nails without a hitch.

As someone heavily invested in team yellow tools I was not looking forward to buying a very expensive one project finish nail gun. This works with my DeWalt batteries and did a great job at half the price.I'll apply my Harbor Freight rule that if I break it through heavy use it's worth buying the real thing. It made applying base boards over a new laminate floor very easy.If you are going to use it day in and day out I have no idea if it will hod up. But, for my small homeowner projects I expect this to meet my needs.

It just ok. I like the fact that it works with a DeWalt 20V battery. But the downside is that the nails don't always fully insert. You have to be sure to apply firm pressure to keep the nailer up against the wood. Also, the nail sizes are limited, and it won't work with staples. But I did finish my project with it and it was a lot cheaper than the actual DeWalt. Also, much easier to use than the pneumatic nailer I was using previously.

I was worried with the price point being low. I had a project to do that required a lot of nailing. This gun worked flawlessly. I recommend this tool.

This works good for soft woods like pine and poplar. Will not fully sink the nail into wood like red oak or Maple. It gets jammed every now and then which requires you to do some maintenance and pull the gun apart and reset the hammer mechanism. Decent product, but limited in use with soft woods, but not hardwood.

Weak. The first thing I tried doing with it was driving 1/2" narrow crown staples through 1/8" masonite into pine. Depth adjustment was on full depth and had a fully charged battery. Drove about every third one flush and the rest were left a little high. I know masonite is hard but pine is soft and they were only 1/2" staples. Should have been no problem. Just for grins I tried about a dozen 1-1/4" staples into pine and none of them went more than half way in. Weak.

I’ve only had it for 1 week but it is awesome. Tried different size nails without issue. The 1 1/4” nail are slightly above wood line randomly but an easy fix with a hammer. Dewalt battery is perfect

I wasn't sure how this tool was going to perform, but to my delight, it worked perfectly. It came with 1 inch nails that were just borderline to do the job I wanted to do, so, I purchased some 1 1/4 inch nails and was able to complete the trim job I was doing. I saved a lot of money buying this nailer over the DeWalt.

description somewhat misleading but I have used 1 1/4", 1" 18 GA brads powered by my 20VDC DeWalt battery and it worked great!! Very satisfied!

If I could give no stars I would, but in order to give a review I have to select a star. This tool did not work at all! It was in used condition, as was the broken - to - pieces box of nails that came with it. Thank goodness Amazon makes returns so easy, however the inconvenience and time wasted is a pain.
