Staples works good the nails do not

This is a solid unit of a tool, and at first seemed great. It's hefty and solid, and the battery from my deWalt drill slipped right in. This should be a convenient tool, and is on the cheaper side as nail guns go. But it does seem a bit weak. While I was able to drive nails in, in many cases they would be protruding out a bit. This is not what you want, but except for softer woods and by pressing very hard, it kept having this issue. So, the results are fine if you just need rough quick work done, but if you are working on a nice project and need consistency, you want something with more power. Staples drove in well.

Works well with DeWalt batteries. Both official and aftermarket batteries.

Just got it to use in small home projects. It feels sturdy and solid. Tried to fire a couple of nails and staples (from the included pack) - so far so good. However, both heads - nails and staples - were not perfectly flat with wood surface, about a 1/2 mm is sticking out. Maybe not a big problem. Will see...The included manual is very short, and the worst part is that it is ONLY in Spanish :)There is a set of tools included (Philips screwdriver and 2 hex wrenches), but the manual does not mention anything about it (as far as I can see on pictures), I assume it is to deal with possible choking.Overall - for the 2-in-1 device (nailer+stapler) and the price of ca$160, it is Ok. Assuming that it is intended only for very light tasks.UPDATE: I've tried all kinds of wood, from plywood to soft maple, but the nail's head is always sticking out ~1mm.Returning.

Difficile à manier, faut tenir l'interrupteur et la force d'impacter pas très forte.

only issue i have with this tool is that the on/off switch is situated next to the activate switch and it is too easy to hit it when working with the tool. also it has no safety feature to prevent accidental discharge staple when the gun is NOT pressed up against your work. A bit dangerous.

J’ai utilisé ce produit pour la pose de plinthes et cadrage et les clous ne s’enfonce pas correctement même quand la batterie est à pleine charge

The best way to describe this RexLeLXB Cordless Nail Gun is 'Good but Not Great"The build quality is good. It is 100% compatible with my DeWalt and Generic DeWalt Batteries. The weight balance is good when the battery is attached and it is easy to use.The instructions are written in Spanish so if you don't speak Espanol then you will need to use an app like google lens or google translate to decipher the manual. The nailer comes with some brad nails and crown staples. I tried both the supplied nails and staples and then others I had. All the 18 gauge nails and staples I tried worked. For my tests I tired nailing into 2x4 spruce, fir and pine lumber. I also tried MDF. The nailer was able to handle all these different woods and perform well ... 'Sort of". When I first started using the nailer I had trouble countersinking the nails. Each time the nail head would protrude 1-2mm, I looked for a depth adjustment and couldn't find one, I Read the manual with google lens and still could not find any way to adjust the nail depth. I tried switching from nails to crown staples and had the same thing happen. The staple heads would sit 1-2mm proud. Not Good. I then applied much more pressure and downforce to the gun and that seemed to resolve the staple countersinking issue. When you apply lots of direct downward pressure the nail gun does counter sink the staples. Yeah! I Thought .... then I switched back to brad nails.Again I applied lots of down pressure to the gun while pressing the trigger and achieved similar results with the brad nails. The nail gun did countersink the brand nails flush with the surface however in doing so it left a straight flat mark 1/4" wide next to the nail. The 1/4" indentation if was leaving was the plunger from the crown staple shaft. If you are going to use this nail gun for rough in framing then diviots and marks on framing is no big deal. On trim, casing, baseboard and cabinetry leaving marks from the crown staple plungers is not good and can lead to timing patch and repair work. That's Not Good.I also tried nailing into some ⅝" MDF casing material. For whatever reason the nail gun would not drive brad nails into the high density MDF casing. Most finishing nail guns, battery powered or cordless have a depth adjustment for the plunger/striker to help control the counter sinking of the nails and minimize marking from the plunger/strike. Most finishing nail guns also have a plastic or nylon tip to help protect your material and prevent marking. This RexLeLXB nail gun has neither of these features which is disappointing and limits so of the uses of this gun.The bottom line ... Compared to the Brand New DeWalt OEM Nail Gun this RexLeLXB nail gun is half the cost. It's 100% compatible with DeWalt batteries and when you apply hard pressure to the surface you are nailing ... This gun works. There are no countersink adjustments or safety tips for the nail/staple head which severely limits the use of this gun to only Rough Work and Framing. I would not recommend using this gun on finished baseboards, trim or cabinetry since the strike/plunger will mark the area surrounding each nail.I love the convenience of cordless nail guns but sadly I would pass on this one due to its limitations
