I put knotty pine in my spare room and it worked flawless. I've used a lot of 2 1/2 in nails, then switch to 1 1/2 and it doesn't care. It works great and at the price I was very happy.

This gun works great with several sizes of nails. I decided to run baseboard in my shop and the old paslode finally gave out. This nailer looked good and it used up to 2 1/2 inch nails so that was always good. I usually run 2 inch for baseboard. Gave it a few drops of oil and went to work and this gun works fabulously.

I had to buy a finish nailer to install a prehung door and some door trim. If you have the money I'd highly recommend you get the Metabo finish nailer, though all things considered this thing does a great job it's just a bit bulky and it is oiled. My biggest mistake was accidentally shooting 18 gauge brad nails in it and unjamming them was an absolute pain, I blasted my friend in the face with the air exhaust as it blew out in whichever direction you have it set. Otherwise, it does great though there is no rapid-fire option like on most nailers.Buy the combo deal with the nails it's worth the money, it also comes with oil which is not mentioned or at least I didn't see it in the product listing.

I was very surprised and happy with the quality of this nail gun for the price. The Numax 16 gauge nail gun is well built, I have built and inspected aircraft parts for 15 years, I know a little bit about quality. The latch for the jam removal door is well-built, fits well and doesn't rattle. All the screws are tight and fit properly. All the roll pins fit in place properly and doesn't stick out to scratch your fingers and hands. Seals don't leak, nail depth adjusts easily. I am very impressed with the quality of Numax nail guns. I'm in a wheelchair and have limited strength due to MS, the grip, the balance, and the ease of the trigger pull are all very good. It is easy to load andremove the nails to change the length you need. I was nailing together a wooden box and trying to nail across another nailed area, the nail I was shooting in hit a cross nail, it just crumpled the nail and didn't even phase the nail gun. I have fired several hundred nails through this gun and it has yet to jam up even with hitting a cross nail and crumpling it. Very good quality gun for the money. I will definitely buy this brand of nail gun again when I need another gauge. Very impressed with this nail gun.

I'm no expert with nailers. I just finished a lean-to/shed, using a mix of nails for framing and roofing. I couldn't be bothered with renting a roofing nailer for this small yard job, so I even used it to attach the shingles, adjusting it (very easily) so that the nails drove exactly flush with the shingle surface, and using a large excess of nails. We'll see whether they stay on in the next hurricane! It performed flawlessly throughout. (I set my air at 90 psi.) The soft tip does fall off too easily (the tool should come with a dozen of them). But for the price, this tool is superb. I will likely use it for attaching cabinet and similar face frames as well when fall comes around and I get back in the woodshop.PS. Many moons later... The lean-to roof (both ply and shingles) is still solidly on, through several storms of at least 70 mph, though not a real hours-on-end hurricane: haven't had one on Long Island since I put it up. In the meantime I've used it for cabinet work in 3/4" ply (with glue) and for attaching face frames: a lot quicker than screws, very solid, and easy to invisibly fill the holes.

Only used this once but it worked flawlessly. I had the air pressure dialed up above 100psi and 2 1/2 in nails were plowing through finish trim and framing buried a mil or two deep. perfect. One nail out of twenty was a mil or two not deep enough. tested it on a 2x4 and it didn't seem to matter plowed through easily. Haven't tried my luck with hardwood,

I wasn’t sure this nailer would do as advertised but let me tell you it’s more than advertised. I’ve shot 2000 nails this far and it’s never hiccuped once. I love it and I loved the price. If it breaks I’ll buy another just like it. You won’t be sorry.Had to update my review. I’ve finished my project and this little nailer never missed a beat. Almost 5000 nails. Love it.

It was cheap thought I'd give it a try. But it's a piece of junk. The feed keeps getting jammed, and when it does shoot a nail it doesn't set it no matter what the pressure is set too. it is a worthless tool now, maybe I can use it for a door stop.

I needed a 16 gauge nailer for a project and didn't want to spend a lot of money. This nailer works great and came quickly. Great done for a reasonable price.

Renovated my basement and this nail gun worked great for both door frames and baseboards and casings. Only a very few misfires over thousands of nails.
