we put concrete board siding using this gun, i would recommend a good regulator on your tank so that you can more easily adjust the depth of the nails other wise this is a fantastic investment im sure the higher model(aluminum housing) would be a lot nicer for the weight but this unit is not unmanageable we put about 5000nails threw this gun and no problems as of yet other then when it gets low sometimes it likes to double nail so just make sure your holding it tight to your surface

I build fences for a living and the Freeman is by far the best air tool I have used for what I do my boss has high dollar guns and you spend more time messing with them cause all they do is jam so this under 200 dollar gun blows his 500 dollar guns out of the water thank you Freeman keep up the good work

Purchased mine in 2018 and I use it to install LP smartside siding and trim professionally. I keep it oiled and maintained and it’s held up amazingly well. I’ve had problems but only with certain brands of nails. I shoot only the plastic collared style so I can’t say what the wired ones will do. I gambled on this one and am very happy I did.

Bought the nailer to put on siding on my house. I have finished the job [ 1800 sq. Ft. House ] and the nailer worked great with little trouble. Had a few jams from debris in the nail tube and a few from hung up feed--my fault-- but in all, gun worked as expected with little problems. I would recommend this gun to any one for home use as that is all I have tried it on but I intend to install about 500 ft of cedar fencing and have full confidence in the guns ability.

Before buying this nail gun . I did my research. I have many contractor friends who recommended this siding nailer. The gun I received worked great the first 2 jobs I used it on . It than went down hill fast . I followed all the manufacturers care instructions and the gun rapid fires 2-3 nails at a time. On top of that the nails get jammed about every 5 nails which is only 2-3 times pulling the trigger . I still believe that this is a great siding nailer , ithink I just got a bad one !!!!

I never Buy stuff have be used again i trying to use the gun for the Frost Time today and all the Nails I have not work on this gun N°1 and N°2 I not sure if the problem is Only with the Nails or with the gun or both far I know the gun not shutting nothing I very Disappointed whit😞😞😞

I really like this siding nailer, it's light, robust, it does not misfire. I shot over 11,000 nails 1 1/4 Hitachi with it in the past year.
