Really impressed with this nail gun for the price. If you are looking for one to use daily for work spend the extra money for a higher quality but for occasional work around the house it works really well.

No matter what kind of nails I bought for it it would not shoot more than one or two nails, and then it would jam

This is a very nice tool for the price. It is comparable to a Makita siding nailer I own in capacity, function and form - and it's actually a little lighter. This nail gun is a siding nailer - not to be confused with a roofing nailer - which looks similar, but uses very different nails. It is a 0 degree nailer, which operates flatter against the nailing surface than a 15 degree nailer. The choice between 0 degree and 15 degree is a personal preference and is functionally no different. The feel of the nailer is solid, it shoots smoothly and effortlessly and has had minimal misfires in the month I have used it. It is easily fired with a small compressor that can provide 90 psi, and misfires are easily cleared without taking the tool apart by simply flipping open the access port.As always, the question is "how long will it last". I WILL update this review should anything fail prematurely - BUT - this nailer comes with a 7 year manufacturer's warranty! Which is fantastic. The tool is made in China, but the company, Carpenter Tools has a US based service center and lists that they have been around for 30 years. The product manual contains an inclusive parts list, should you ever need to replace a broken part.Bottom line: I am both impressed and pleased with this nailer, and additionally comforted by the long warranty should anything fail in the future.

Really nice nail gun! I got this for my husband and he says he likes it. It's easy to use and lightweight to carry around. He has been using it to fix things around the house and sometimes at work on his home remodeling jobs. So far it's worked great for him and it gets the job done quick and easy. Overall satisfied and would recommend it. Good for home repairs and light work!

The tool itself is fine, but it's very hard to find zero degree framing nails. 15° is the standard so you have really limited selection in lengths and where to get them. For example I could not find 1.5" 0° nails anywhere. Had to go with 1 - 7/8. For this reason I wouldn't recommend it.

I’m really impressed with how smoothly this works. It had no trouble working through a difficult addition to the house. It’s flexible as far as the size nails it will take. I didn’t see much difference between this and the one used at the job site.

There is something about pneumatic tools that always call my attention. I used to have a small shop in Puerto Rico fully loaded to build all types of furniture, cabinets, etc. I still have all kinds of brad nailers, staplers, corrugated guns, sanders, you name it! Never a nailer this size because this is more like for construction work. Yet, I'm certain I will put this to use when I move to the country where I can easily build things I can not have in the city. The body (casing) itself seems quite strong (not as solid as I expected though), and somewhat lighter than expected too, which makes it more mangeable. I do not consider this (I may be mistaken) appropriate for heavy commercial use, but good enough to tackle any job around the house, farm, barn, ect...The only reason I slashed a star was because of the nail cartridge, it feels somewhat weak, plastic. One thing I know for sure...This type of tools last longer if you have a proper set up: good air compressor, filters and regulators in the air supply line from the compressor to the tools. This takes 1-1/2" to 2-1/2" inch nails. This is a siding nailer! But I bet I can use it for building my first chicken coop! I forgot to mention the importance of keeping it lubricated and a good filter to protect from water getting in the line.
