Excellent product. Period. No need to spend triple on a Grex. This company has been around much longer than Grex. I own five different models. NEVER ONE ISSUE. Lighter than the Grex and just as maneuverable. Gun settings are accurate and the oil-less feature keeps your woodwork from getting stained...just like the Grex.

The Pin Nailer is great. Easy to adjust depth control and has a nice case and I have driven 2" pins into solid Hard Maple without an issue, so power is there if needed but driving pins is not too difficult. I have been using pneumatic Nailers for over 40 yrs. in construction and have NEVER had any issues with the durability and quality of Stanley Bostich Nailers. I have Roofing, Finishing, Brad and Pin Nailers and Wide, Narrow Mid-size Crown Staplers and Stanley Bostich is the only brand that I can go back 20+ yrs. and still find a parts if one needs replacement. As an example, I purchased a Hitachi N3804AB2 stapler and used it about 2 years and then the plastic nose piece had just disintegrated. So, I figured no big deal I will just go and order a replacement. NO LONGER AVAILABLE. I searched high and low everywhere on the net and no one has it. I had to make one with plastic dip. But a tool that is two years old you cannot find parts for is pathetic. That is why if you want a tool that will last you a lifetime and never have issues if you ever need parts then stay with Stanley Bostich and you will never be disappointed if you take care of your tools and keep them clean and maintained.

It’s a Bostitch, so you know it’s high quality. I really like mine, it works flawlessly. The only complaint I have is the safety trigger is a bit of a pain to get used to. In fact, I ended up taping mine down so I wouldn’t have to mess with it.[7 month update] This gun is still performing flawlessly. I’ve used several brands of nails through it (Harbor Freight, Bostitch, and Freeman) and they all feed and fire perfectly. I’ve only had one jam and that was my own fault. Oh, I removed the tape from the safety trigger and learned to use it as designed. Took a little getting used to but it’s fine.

I haven't used this tool often enough yet to give it a fair review. So far it has worked well and hasn'tjammed up - better than the one it has replaced. If it holds up on my next big project where I need a small nailer I'll review it in more detail.

He hasn’t used it yet but he requested this specific thing bc of the brand so you know it’s going to be great.

If you are looking at this nail gun, then you are clearly looking for something to help with hobby projects or finish carpentry. Note that this is a PIN nailer - meaning the pins have no heads. This should be used primarily to hold wood together while glue dries. I use this to pin outside corners of molding while glue dries so they never separate. I would not recommend this as a primary nailer for finish molding - you simply won't get a durable, long lasting hold. One thing that sets this gun apart - most 23 gauge pin nailers require a allen wrench to adjust the nail depth - this one uses a tool-less dial much like an 18 or 16 gauge.

I’m on my third nailer in three weeks. All three were broken within a few hours of use. The gun is similar to any other.23 gauge nailer I have had. And I have had at least a dozen (several different brands). The issue is in the rail system. You will use this gun and right away think that you have found a great value. Then after you use it for a short while you will run out of nails and go to open the rail to insert more nails... but the rail will then only open half way. That will be the end of that. Then you will have to deal with a return situation. DO NOT BUY!!!!!
