Bought this for the longtube race headers on my 370Z.This wrap has performed extremely well. Under hood temps cut nearly in half. Radiant heat into the transmission and transmission tunnel is reduced dramatically.This wrap works so well that when one of the electrical harnesses came loose in my engine bay, it barely melted the electrical insulation at all, thus turning what could have been a catastrophic part failure (and a huge fire risk) into a minor annoyance needing a fresh wire patched in and re-routed.Definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs to wrap longtube headers.

Used it from the headers to the muffler. Noticed significant heat shielding from under the cab.

Picked this out after perusing a bunch of different exhaust pipe wraps. Bought it to insulate the manifold-to-catalyst pipe on my car so the catalytic converter will get hot faster and cold-engine emissions will be reduced. It's got a high-quality feel and appearance to it, and it's easy to work with. It does the job very well as borne out by before/after emission test numbers (OK, I'm a geek). For about 7 days it gave off a "hot product" smell, but not thereafter. I'd buy it again.

excellent wrap! could have come with basic installation guide or tips but a few you tube videos and a self lesson on wearing gloves and turned out great. very good quality

Out off necessity, had to replace a large section of wrap on our diesel motor coach exhaust system. This wrap blended-in and merged perfectly with existing wrap. It was easy to apply and held in place firmly with stainless steel ties.
