Does the job just fine! The instructions are as noob friendly as possible. The diagonal brace behind the board does a good job of insuring the ball bounces firmly off the board. The rim is great quality. The screws are zinc plated and quality steel. Easy to lower and raise for the kiddos.Things to note:1. The backboard has a side wall and given it's plexiglass and will eventually become brittle and break it will be impossible to find a replacement board unless you buy the exact one from them.2. The distance of the mounting holes that secure it to the wall are not 16 on center so you'll have to add studs in the wall to secure it properly.3. Make sure you face the head of the screws that hold the mounting plate that attaches to the back of the board towards the center of the board (see picture). If you face the 4 screws the wrong way they will interfere with the pivot of the backboard.

I was apprehensive about finding an affordable good quality hoop and backboard that would attach to my carport and offer both sturdiness and height adjustability. Yesterday I finished the installation and it is absolutely perfect. I seldom write reviews but feel compelled to share my satisfaction when a product is actually better than anticipated. Since the unit is so new I can't vouch for its longevity but I am a 70 year old handyman and I have seen a lot of poor equipment being falsely advertised as "quality." So what makes it so good? The steel is thick and extra stable. The nuts and bolts go together easily and stay together with the locknuts threading beautifully. The rim is incredibly sturdy. And the fit and finish is superb at this price level. I guess you can tell that I am a very satisfied customer who is often quite critical (just ask the Mrs.:-)) So far I believe this hoop will be a winner with my 5 kids and 5 grandkids. It adjusts smoothly to different heights. If there is one thing I predict could be a problem it will likely be the shiny plexi surface which will probably look pretty bad by the end of the summer due to scuffing. So not perfect but still a definite 5 star. Did I say it was also beautiful? and did I say the installation manual was about the best I have ever seen with any product? Kudos to the company who put the time, effort and expense into this feature which makes installation a doable thing for many.

We got this goal for our indoor gym. It was easy to install and it’s very easy to adjust the height, which was a must for us because my husband likes to play and our seven year-old boys like to play and they need different heights. It is sturdy and so far seems to be great quality

This took a little longer that we planned, but the instructions we great. Just like others said before, 1) Use a pick up truck and stand in the back while installing. 2) the backboard does not come with mounting screws. You will need to review the items in the box, look at the space you plan to install and purchase from your local Home Improvement Store. It looks great and feels very sturdy. It is very cold today and will be for the next week or so. But once it breaks 45-50 degrees, we will be testing it out.

Good solid quality. Mounted above our garage. Son loves it and uses it every week. Only issue I have is the installation after you have mounted the support bracket to the wall. I love the fact that it hugs the wall (this is the main reason why I purchased it). I didn't need an adjustable one that hangs far off my garage. However, this makes it difficult to install because even with a ladder and being very close to it, it's difficult to both hold and align it while getting your arm and hand behind the backboard to connect it to the mounting bracket - especially if you are doing this by yourself!

Great basketball hoop! Instructions to put the hoop together were very easy to follow. Installing the mount to the wall was the only tricky part as no hardware or guidance is provided.

Just know that you have to buy hardware to bolt/lag/whatever into your building and you are good to go. Instructions for me were very easy. Is it a professional hoop, no. Is it fantastic for the money yes. It is so much more stable than cheap weighted base hoops, the bounce off the rim and backboard for bank shots is so much closer to what you see in a Gym. Don't hesitate just get it

Pros: Easy assembly, nice appearance. Cons: a bit pricey, good be made more heavy duty. Undersized frame (imo) and backboard could be a a bit thicker. Very functional with good quality hoop.

The Basketball net is awesome. Just as advertised. easy to setup. - 5 STARS.My Amazon experience was an awful nightmare.The item was sitting at the fulfillment center and for some reason took over 3 months to ship.They said I needed to cancel my order and then re-order in order for it to be processed.This happened twice.There was a broken link between the Amazon customer service and the fulfillment center.I never received any updates, and if I hadn't called over and over again - it would still be sitting at the Amazon fulfillment center today. What a big waste of my time!!!
