this is a great fly box! the plastic is thick and sturdy, looks like it will hold up well over time. so far it closes very securely as well (a little too securely for my arthritic hands lol! i do struggle a bit to open the snap latch, but maybe this will loosen up a bit over time). its a really great size for an ultralight setup, very thin and easy to store in my hip pack. may not work well with large flies or nymphs, but if you're fishing with small flies, this is a great purchase! definitely recommend!

This thing works, is slim and the perfect size for the tiny front pouch on my wading bag, which is what I primarily care about. I don't think I ever would have rated it 5 stars, as it's cheaply made and has a huge sticker on the front of it, and I wish it were plain. But I'm docking one more star because I think the plastic it is made from could be better. It is hard and "brittle" and seems like it would crack if stepped on or something. Not to say it's not durable..I don't think it would crack, even if dropped on a rock or something, because it's thick and well made. But if it were stepped on, I wish it were a slightly softer, more forgiving plastic, so that it would "give" under pressure and absorb the blow a bit, instead of cracking.

Almost perfect in size and weight for what I was looking for, however I've used it 3 times and it's already fallen apart. The metal piece that supports the hinges fell out. Didn't drop and it isn't broken, literally opened it to fill it then took it out fishing. Then my next fishing trip it was gone and my box is now 2 pieces that won't stay connected. It's pretty much useless to me at this point. Would not buy again, poor quality product.

The second I took it out of the packaging the small metal rod that holds the hinge together fell out. Not sure if mine was defective or this is just a design flaw. At $7 it's barely worth the hassle of trying to return it.

Doesnt seem that sturdy but not used yet as its a xmas stocking filler so time will tell but for the price not bad

Perfect size for all my nymph needs. Use one for each season and condition. Excellent product and very easy to use and store.
