This is a nice sturdy, lightweight fly fishing boat box or can be used for larger flies like streamers, hoppers etc for storage. Two pieces of stick on slotted foam for the inside and 1 piece of stick on slotted foam for the lid to keep spares easily at hand. One word of caution is that the box is not fully waterproof, so if it gets splashed hard, it's best to open it up at the end of the day to let your flies air dry and not rust. Not sure if it would float if it falls in the water, that might depend on the weight of the flies inside obviously. For the price, it's a winner.

Advertised as "Streamer Fly Boxes Click Lock Large Streamer Flies Foams Fishing Tackle Box Boating Fishing Boxes with three Foams 14X11X3.35 inch (Boat box L-Grey)", this product presents a few challenges. Primarily, it is on waterproof. The photos show that there is no seal on the edges of the box. The molded halves are light and somewhat thin which causes flex and often incorrect alignment when attempting to close. On a positive note, the sliding latches are easy to operate and click securely. The box is large and plenty deep to accommodate many and varies streamers. An extra foam insert is provided. I would have preferred a drying patch mounted on the top of the box.On my recent fishing trip on a small lake, the lack of waterproofing proved to be the products greatest problem and resulted in a great deal of time spent in rescuing many expensive streamer hooks.Boat boxes can be expected to be exposed to a lot of water, and should be designed to protect their contents from becoming soaked.This box is adequate for simple fly storage, but not for the elements. As such, it seems a bit overpriced.

A perfectly serviceable alternative to expensive fly boxes. Can hold a large amount of flies and a variety of sizes.

I gave it 2 stars. It will work for a little while but I know it will not hold up to long term use. Very thin material. I doubt that it would last a day in the sun without warping. Regret my purchase.

This is one big box. It comes with 3 foam inserts with adhesive on one side. I placed a foam insert on each inside surface and the third on the top of the box. This way I can dry my flies on the outside before returning them into the box. I also put my favorite flies on the top when I first get ready to fish, giving me easy access to them. The box has plenty of room for those extra large flies.My box arrived quickly and without any damage. All of the hinges and latches worked fine. The pins inside of the hinge are made of the same plastic, so they won't rust, this I viewed as a plus. However they do have a little flex in them. Once latched the box feels fairly solid. Overall I think this box will be a good addition to my fly fishing gear.
