I purchased two of these with the intention of making MT3 test bars out of them. Both pieces had some dings in them, like they were just tossed in a box after manufacturing. I was able to stone them down with a precision flat stone, but one of them was pretty badly damaged to the point I debated returning it. I checked their fit with some Prussian blue and they did blue up okay.The adapters were different lengths and the machinable stubs were different diameters. Not a huge deal, but could be a problem if you need them for some matching purpose.The steel also seems to be a pretty "gummy" grade, and I couldn't really get what I would consider an acceptable finish.Overall, I decided that since I would be using them for gage purposes I no longer trusted them. These would probably be fine if you're just using them to make an adapter for some special tooling or something.

It makes no functional difference for me but the surfaces had some minor dings both on the taper and on the blank end. Was able to stone the taper smooth easily enough but would have preferred not to have to. Take one star off - but otherwise exactly what I was looking for.
