I had no problem replacing my old battery with the new one. This battery is cheaper than buying a new PS3 controller and works perfectly.

The battery fits my Dualshock 3 just fine, although it does not have the little "tabs" to keep the battery from sliding around during reassembly. (Though once the controller is snapped back together and tightened down, the battery does not shift around, so this isn't an issue to me).The problem is that the included charging cable DOES NOT charge a Dualshock 3. I tried it with my PC USB ports, phone chargers, and anything else I could find, but no luck.I purchased a dedicated PS3 charging cable from Amazon (Insten brand) and the controller charges just fine from my Laptop.EDIT: OSTENT contacted me and made everything right with a refund. Great customer service, and the battery itself continues to function well.

As advertised, the battery does work. It appears to hold a long charge, though I still have yet to use the controller I installed the battery infor an extensive period of time, then I'll be able to comment on the long term usage. My only gripe is that the battery will only charge using the specific charging cable that came in the box as well as requiring to be plugged into the PS3 usb ports. All other charging cables, including the PS3 oem cable, will not be compatible with it. The Ostent cable also will not recognize any other charging brick or USB port. Aside from those few things, it did restore life in my oem PS3 controller, which is good.

Few days ago my ps3 headset I still use for ps5 doesn't charge anymore, I order this battery and replace the headset battery with this one I order IT WORK PERFECTLY(connecter is the same). The difference between the original LIP1472 and this one , is this one will work more longer between every recharge. The seller should add in his description this battery work with the PS3 headset. Really happy with this product.

数年ぶりに引っ張り出したコントローラーのバッテリーが死んでいたので購入。今のところ充電も問題なくできているし、バッテリーの持ちもいい感じ。タイトルの通り、純正品にはあるコントローラー内での固定用の出っ張りはないが、コントローラー背面にある固定用スポンジで位置ズレしないようになっているため、よほど粗く使う人でもない限り問題は発生しない…はず
