Super happy with these. I got my old ps3 back to life without having to get new controllers that aren’t as good as the originals. Installation could be a bit tricky for some but not terrible if you’re careful.

Review for PowerTrust 2Pack LIP1359 Batteries compatible with Sony Playstation 3/ PS3 DualShock controllers:Installed one of these so far, and it performs as expected. If you haven't done this before, definitely watch a couple of YouTube videos to see what the process entails, and watch out for parts dropping out of place when you have the body opened. I recommend having a pair of needlenose pliers or hemostats to help remove the small connector. I'm deducting one star from my rating because one of the batteries I received has a noticeable curve in the shell, rather than being flat & square. This isn't the swelling that would indicate a damaged cell, but appears to only be the plastic case for the battery cell being deformed. This is the one I installed: it fit fine in my controller, but if the curve had been a little bit worse, it might have made it impossible to close the shell properly.

My PS3 controllers can't hold a charge any longer. One of the battery is completely dead. These replacement batteries worked perfectly on my Sony PS3 OEM controllers. It came with a small screwdriver and plastic tool. It took about 20 minutes to completely replaced both batteries on my PS3 controllers. I highly recommend this product.
