Just received and it works good so far, not to heavy, feels sturdy enough for my furniture business. Good grip and battery.Update 1: returned item after a week or so. Used twice and both batteries failed. Not enough power to use on small simple projects. Do not recommend.

This nail gun works great! It’s medium lightweight but packs a punch, and I haven’t had any issues with jams so far! The battery lasts a good while, and having a spare is super convenient! I’ve used it for small woodworking projects and repairs around the house, and it’s made things so much easier and faster to fix! Saved me a lot of time for sure! Definitely happy with this purchase!

I am not a professional, and I would mainly use a nail gun for minor repairs. I live in Arizona, where, due to the dry air and structural differences, the kitchen cabinets and the crown molding started to separate in some places. Initially, I tried to do a glue repair but that didn’t work too well.Here it comes, Jovant’s nail and stapler gun. It is well built and inspires confidence. My initial tests confirm that. For the tests, I used pieces of ¾ in. thick pine wood, separate or one on top of the other. The ⅞ in. crown staple went through like through butter, and so did the nails. For the nails, I used the 1⅛ nails and two pieces of wood, one on top of the other. The impact force can be adjusted, but, honestly, I did not notice any difference. In the manual, it says that you adjust the impact force so that you “[do] not hurt the wood,” but I kept on hurting it. Nevertheless, an electric cordless nail gun does not have the force of a pneumatic nail gun, but it is very handy for home projects.I appreciated the safety feature that prevents the accidental discharge: the sensor on the nose pin must be fully depressed to activate the trigger. Additionally, there is a light at the nose that switches on when it is safe to activate the trigger. Jovant’s gun weights almost 6 lbs. If you work on a horizontal surface, this is not a big problem because the weight is sustained by the surface, but if you need to work on a vertical surface, your arm will certainly feel different the next day.In addition to the gun, you get an assortment of accessories that include an assortment of staples and nails, a nail puller, goggles, a removable hook attachment that you can use if you want to hang your gun on a peg board, and, more importantly, a spare driver blade. One interesting tidbit is that the Jovant battery is compatible with Makita 18V batteries BL1860B, BL1850B, BL1840B, BL1820B, and BL1815N.There was something unusual with the packing, and I cannot tell if this was due to how the product was shipped by the manufacturer or how the product was packed by Amazon. The nail gun came inside a hard case designed to hold the gun, the batteries, the charger, and the accessories. You are also getting a stapler remover, an assortment of nails and staplers, and protection glasses. These last ones do not fit inside the case, but, nevertheless, they were stuck inside so the case arrived opened. When I opened the package, everything came out loose. Not only that, one of the latches for the hard case was missing, and the case was slightly dented. Is this enough to knock a star? I guess, for me, it is.

Fought this because I was sick and tired of pulling in air hose through the house to fix trim as my kids knock it off. Definitely worth the investment. Was nice that it came with little stockpile of Staples and nails. The extra battery will definitely be helpful I'm sure.
