I just installed new flooring in the den and had to replace all of the baseboards. It took a bit of practice to learn how to precisely adjust the depth, but I was able to adjust it for both baseboards and MDF. I also make a quick repair to an old laminate bookcase. I am giving the Pin Nailer 4 stars because it took me many attempts over several days to figure out how to make it work. To install the nails, lay the nailer with the nail side pointed to the left, not the right. This is not shown in the instruction manual. After I finally figured this out, I discovered this is definitely a 5 star tool with a 2 star instruction manual. When you load the nails properly, it works instantly and is extremely reliable for baseboards and other wood work.
