I wanted cordless, not pneumatic. It is a little heavy for good reason. 12v battery and did a great job. Walked around the old deck and set all the nails, and ones in tight spaces, in about 20 minutes. Very convenient for joist hangers as well. Have not come across anywhere it wouldn’t fit so far. Highly recommend!

I generally love Milwaukee products, and was wanting to keep with my existing batteries, so picked this palm nailer. It's a good driver, but it's weight and size are tiring for my old hands. I'm sure a younger, fit worker would have little trouble, and Milwaukee tools are really well-built. Hated to dock a star but too much for me. On the plus side no dang hoses or cords to drag around, tangle and trip over- the real bonus to the nailer. Battery life is phenominal. Go for it if you have strong mitts!

This thing is wonderful. It will go however gentle or aggressive you choose by how aggressively you use it. Fast, slow, deep, shallow, angles... all without thought or effort. Just change hand position and pressure. Drives framing nails with speed and ease. Drives lighter nails with precision and accuracy. Fixes maitakes made with other battery operated styles of nailers. Great for nailing in windows. No worries of a slip and hitting the glass. Did I mention I love this thing? The only thing I found it isn't great at is driving nails out from the sharp end. The nails can go in between the striking head and the guide collar if you can't get a good angle on them. If you can get at them, and straight on, it works ok. That said, I haven't yet used it for finish nails with their nearly non-existent heads. As long as you have room to work, I think it would still do fine, but there is that possibility of the nail slipping into the gap. But this is only an issue with nails with very small head diameter.

So... I put in 65 2x10 joist hangers (1-1/4" Teco nails) 12 nails per joist hanger =780 nails. This tool put in all of that on 1/2 of a battery charge!! I bought an "off-brand" M12 6.0Ah battery. The Palm-nailer worked flawlessly, no problems or issues at any time of the job. We were installing bridging blocks between 2x12 stringers on a wooden bridge over the water, kneeling down from the stringers, not a comfy position! This Palm-Nailer saved us a lot of time and body aches!!
