Used to repair copper tubing split by freezing weather. Was a tighter fit than expected, but is working so far. Price was better than purchasing locally and it arrived the next day after ordering. Would buy again.

Caution- as mentioned in previous reviews these couplings are sized for two different pipe materials. I (iron) and C (copper). The seller needs to add important info regarding proper fit. I ordered the 1-1/4in coupling for Iron pipe but it only works on copper pipe for that size. The other size stamped on the coupling is for 1in iron pipe. Kind of confusing and frustrating!

I ordered the Midline Valve RSC2256 Compression Coupling Fitting in the 3/4 in. X 3 in. size, but unfortunately, I received a 1/2 to 3/4 instead. I couldn’t use it for my project, but the fitting itself seemed to be of good quality, and I’m sure it would have worked well if the correct size had been sent. I would consider ordering again if the correct size is available.

If you've ever tried sweating something with solder, you know it can be difficult. But with these fittings, you simply fit the pipe in each end & tighten the ends of it. Problem solved.

RLC2336 -1-1/4" x 5" has a pipe OD of 1.72" also displays (1-1/4" I) and (1-1/2" C) on the fitting. Hope this is helpful to someone as it would not fit the 1-1/4" OD PB pipe I had.
