Fit my 1992 Nissan NS-70a2 (Tohatsu) perfectly. I had just spent hours freeing up a seized steering cable. Water has drawn through the unprotected end over the years corroding just enough to freeze the slider bar. I was not going to leave it unprotected. This item seems to be doing the job. I removed the steering slider bar and inspected it mid summer and I do not see any signs of water intrusion and the grease is still there. This should be a Factory standard part on all outboards with that style mechanical steering.

I have a Evinrude 150 Ocean Pro and this grease steering nut fit perfectly and is of the high quality. the seal between the steering piston and nut is really good. I'm impressed so far, lets see how it hols up. I confident it will do well.

Fits Evinrude 60 etec with teleflex cable.The zirk is useless to me, since I use spray on white lithium grease.I like the fact that the o-ring can be replaced if it fails.Would buy again.
