This is genuinely a good knife. Very sharp, comfortable to hold, and sturdy. I love that you can unscrew the belt hook from the sheath. I’m using it as a pocket carry for work and it works great because it’s has such a slim profile. Overall I would say this product has greatly exceeded my expectations for a $50 knife. Good job Kizer.

I'm a retired Police Officer and I always wear a neck knife. The concern is the knife coming un-sheathed, ..not with this one! It secures great and is QUITE the GREAT blade in every way!!!

The knife came sharp and the quality was good. D2 isn't my favorite steel because I live in a swamp and my hand sweat will rust anything in no time, so I got the coated version. The coating so far has been quite durable. Its rough texture reminds me a lot of of my RAT5's coating. Maybe not the best for cutting grippy materials, but then you can just get the satin version. I do really love the blade shape though.The sheath was meh, the opening was a wee bit deformed and the blade was slicing the opening as it was being inserted. I didn't want to dull the blade off the sheath, so I quickly stuck it in hot (boiling) water and stretched it out. My bigger issue was with how uncomfortable the handle was. It just felt like there was no good way to hold it. Maybe someone with bigger hands (mine are tiny) would find it better. Personally the holes were too big for my fingers to fit well. I ended up weaving in some string and that made it much better. With the little hole in the middle of the handle I believe it would also be very easy to carve something out of wood and use that hole to fill it in as well.Overall for the money, there aren't a lot of small fixies in this price range in better steel, and if you're willing to tinker with the handle (or if kizer or some after market maker releases better scales) its pretty good.

I had high hopes for this design however the quality falls short all around. While it is sharp and fits well in the hand, the sheath holds this back. The retention is held by friction and has no positive snap. I purchased two to make sure it wasn’t simply a one off as I really wanted to carry this. The sheath scratches the blade constantly. I love some of kizers knives but this one isn’t worth the money in my opinion.

Well crafted and milled from one piece of D2 steel. The edges are rounded over so there are no hot spots and it feels comfortable in the hand with my index finger through the hole in the front and my thumb resting on the jimping on the spine of the blade. The knife reverse grips well too. Still playing around with it to get a feel for the best way to hold it in different positions. Might do a paracord wrap later still haven’t made up my mind. It was very difficult at first to get the knife in and out of the kydex sheath I added a little petroleum jelly and I have been sheathing and removing the knife repeatedly and it has eased considerably. I wish they had incorporated a thumb ramp into the sheath. The knife is plenty sharp right out of the box shaving hair from my arms effortlessly. Very lightweight and makes for a good neck knife or a back up knife on your belt or on your pack shoulder strap. Worth the money get one!
