Change water before you use. Keep a good PH and don’t ad nutrients unless you have change the water and make sure you add the correct amount. Be patient and watch and learn and you will be great.

These seed pods are a good OEM alternative. As I have stated in other reviews, these pods run small but them blow up once soaked in water. You should also add a cap of hydrogen peroxide to help ensure you are starting with clean pods. One confirmation that I can offer is that the included fertilizer works. 4 out of 5 of my plants in my Sprout system all came up when using this fertilizer mix. I was concerned about whether the fertilizer had enough good bacteria similar to the Scotts included with the Aerogardens. Yep no worries there. 4/5 stars for being a very good value with the included fertilizer.
