Works well in a hydro set up, I start seeds directly in these sponges and the delicate roots are always able to grow through them.

They work fine, however, they are a lot smaller than the originals and the seeds don't germinate as well.

I have used 2 different kinds (from diff companies) and these have not worked for me. Nothing has grown. Not sure what the difference could be but I have planted 10 different seeds in 10 pods and nothing!

these are a bit more solid than lots of other plugs. very dense. only problem i've had is that once in a while the sprouting root will push the seedling out of the plug. solution was to use small drill bit and simply push into plug hole and twist by hand. much better success rate on germination too.

It takes many days for the first signs of the plant to appear, they also turn green on top and in some the plant didn't even come out, I thought they were the seeds but I bought other sponges and those had no problems. It's a shame the price was good

Wasn’t impressed. I probably should have looked into the description better.This is a product made from rubber / plastic. I thought it was a natural peat product.I would not purchase again.
