I like the fact it can shoot finish nails and staples. I didn’t think I would shoot many staples. Well I was wrong. I have shot just as many if not more than the nails. Nice light weight and has the non marring tip.

Leaked air around the gasket between top and body. Sent back for another. We'll see if it's any better.Update on second unit. It wouldn't work at all, returning it as well. When I pulled the trigger, it just hissed air around the trigger and wouldn't fire the piston. This makes the 2nd thing I've had to return and both of the replacements were used or didn't work. I think Amazon sends other returned items to replace the original instead of a brand new unit. If they do, they're costing themselves a bunch of money on the returns. They should at least have someone check the replacements and make sure they work. I'll know I'll never be ordering a replacement again. Don't buy these guns either, they're junk.

As many other customers have described this multi-fastener gun does what it’s supposed to do but the hammer pin does make marks in your work surface most of the time. Seems like it makes marks more often when gun isn’t perfectly perpendicular to the work but between modulating air pressure and adjusting the fastener depth setting you can get it dialed in pretty close. Noticed that the hammer pin area emits a small spark occasionally while operating. I am using Hitachi brand 1-1/2” finish nails to fasten 5mm plywood underlayment to 2x6 interior framing. Also have experienced occasional incomplete fastener driving but that could be operator error as I get familiar with the operating characteristics of the tool. Time will tell.

Upon receiving the nail gun tested it shooting a few nails and staples. Staples worked fine but 16 & 18 left long and very visible markings on the wood since only one side is firing and the hammer is wide. So for the finishing job, this gun is not recommended at all. I have guns of all gauges so just used my other guns to finish the job. I'm checking if I can return it.
