Just finished trimming out my house and this tool is my absolute favorite. Never jammed once and I ran 4000 nails through it. Easy on the batteries, too. I switched from pneumatic to this cordless one and it is the biggest time saver!

This is a great trim nailer. My carpenter career started in 1983. I always used air nailers until the fine product Passload came along. The Passload is a fine product. This battery powered gun is better. This didn't come with batteries but I already had Dewalt batteries. I have been using the same 6ah battery for at least 6 weeks. We haven't used it continuous but fairly steady. I think that battery would last 8 solid 8 hour days.

My only regret is I didn’t but this tool years ago. What a joy not to drag a hose and compressor around. I did crown molding in a large bedroom and never changed the battery. Fantastic tool.

Recently bought this and used it for installing 4.4" wooden based for my curtain rod fixtures. The freedom made the whole project a pleasure. Else I needed the compressor with me in all rooms. The relatively quite working of this tool is really a boon.Used it with 2" #6 bards. Cant wait to use it in the next project.

I use the 18 ga and is very reliable, great gun. I have so much yellow in my shop you need sun glasses. I received the 16 ga finish nailer in hopes it would work as well as the 18 ga. Sorry dewalt the 16 ga 2 1/2 finish nails refused to sink nails. The gun bogged down often. I changed to a fully charged 8 batter but still would not work. Replacing it so hopefully it will work as it should.

Precise nail placement. Easy depth adjustment. A tad heavy, as expected. It actually uses very little power. You can go quite far on the smaller, lighter battery. Happy so far.

I had a pasode cordless butane finish nailer for 23 years and couldn't find a replacement spark plug for it so I figured it was time for change. I looked at them all and decided on the dewalt 16 guage. It's light and easy to use, never misfires. the loading mechanism takes some practice but overall, I made the correct choice.
