These jack pads were less expensive than metal pads and, being relatively soft, they stick to the jack well, and they eliminate any danger of damage between the jack and the Corvette. Be sure to get a low profile floor jack, though! With this (or any other jack pad) in place you only have about 4" of space between the pad and the floor.

Good product...now able to hoist my vettes on the lift, with the pucks allowing clearance of the fiberglass to the lift arms...I feel that the diameter of the pucks could be increased by 1 1/2 inches for a greater surface area contributing possibly to durability and strength...I went with the rubber (hard plastic) rather than aluminum pucks, thinking that they would grip better than the aluminum ones, maybe lessening chances of my vette sliding...these are hard polymers rather than rubber, a little less friction than rubber...I’ve used them four times now and so far have held up...I’m sure the billet aluminum ones would last longer...all the hoists (8) in our shop have rubber pads , but I need to use the metal arm of the hoist on two of the lifting points, therefore two contact point are metal to puck and the other two contact points are the lifts rubber pad to the pucks...working for me so far..

These work well on your C8 Corvette. Just remember to remove them once you are done and lower the car from your lift. No worries about permanently mounted ones that can catch on things that you may drive over and add unwanted weight to the car.

I keep these in my daughter’s Saturn Sky. Keep them in the car at all times to prevent bending of the flow board. Use these in your Jacking points.Just a little cheap insurance… Definitely worth a look, but if I had to do it again, I would purchase the anodize backslash aluminum colored cut to keep it permanently for Only $23.

Description States. "These jack pads will NOT work on a 2006-2012 C6 Z06, ZR1 or Grand Sport. This is not entirely true. My 2008 Z06 has lifting pads and does in fact accept these Pucks. There may be some variances but for my year and model they work. I confirmed by checking out car frame before ordering.Pucks are decent quality and fit well. They are fairly dense/hard rubber which is needed to hold vehicle weight. They are designed to be used and then removed when done. Do not leave in car , as they will fall out when driving. Price is right! You could make your own but not at that price.

Perfect for jacking up my C7 Corvette. Make sure to use these instead of without because you can damage the rocker panel.
