I could have brought a piece of wood board instead of that. Not that sturdy nor a good fit

Just received the item, not nearly the same thickness as what's shown in the picture. That appeared to be about a 3/4 in board these are all 1/4 inch.Might still possibly work but already concerned due to the bait and switch of the picture provided.
