The non-marring rubber tip helps protect the project surface and the contact safety prevents misfires. Made of lightweight die cast aluminum, it's easy to handle, yet durable enough for consistent use. Plus the nail indicator window lets users see when brads are running low and the easy to use magazine makes reloading a breeze.

I don't use it as often, but when I use it works as expected without any problem.

This unit has a quality that is evident the first time I took it out of its box, how could I not expect it to exceed my expectations in use? I've only owned a cheaper unit in the past, this one drives brads at various levels below the surface without leaving obvious marks. I also own an Arrow stapler which is a pleasure to use. Both are oil-less so no danger of staining wood, canvas or clothing while maintaining longevity.

This isn't a bad nailer to be honest. I don't understand why so many people are against it as it's affordable, seems well-built, and comes from a reputable brand. I've had an Arrow (manual) stapler for years and years and it's never let me down so I don't understand the opposition or speculation about why they'd build a terrible brad nailer. It definitely has some flaws but it's a decent little beat around gun that it rather lightweight and comfortable in your hand. It looks like it'll take a beating and it's fairly intuitive and all-metal so it'll be around for some time. It's also inexpensive enough that you can risk this one a bit more. Especially valuable if you have "that" friend or family member.Yes, it doesn't come with instructions, but you can find them online or -- honestly -- just play around with it. The releases are pretty straight-forward and the max psi is stamped into the bottom (120) so you have largely what you need out of the manual.Nailing on some scrap went well. Mine didn't come with any brad nails so be sure to order those as well. The magazine holds and functions quite similar to my Bostitch. They seem a little looser but it didn't suffer any performance flaws for it.The one thing that would personally turn me away from purchasing this in particular would be its oil requirement. Some of the higher-end nailers don't require it and -- to me -- I personally decided to pay the premium when I purchased my other nailer, a Bostitch. Sometimes oiled nailers will spray out an ever-so-slight mist on your work when you nail it which can be annoying if (or when) it's finish work. This is me though and oil is often required for nailers in this range. It's also not covering stuff in oil or anything and it's not unique to this Arrow. If this is your first nailer or you need one for work here and there and don't mind the oil thing, I think this is a great option. More 'contractor-grade' guns will run you easily up to or over double and if you don't foresee yourself using it a lot, why spend it? This will hold up for some time, get you comfortable with air guns in your woodwork, and give you time to experiment. In the end, you may never need another. Or in a few years, you may decide it's time to step up to something more hardcore. But this is a fair deal for what seems to be a legitimately built tool.

Suprise how easy and accurate to use. Sure, cane in handy working on remodeling my bedroom and bathroom. Trim installed without any brads showing. Like this almost as well as my Freeman. I use both every time I get an opportunity. Really did not know the Arrow was this good but bought it because of the price. Sure glad I did.

Was trying to finish nailing trim the old way with a hammer and nail !, got this and don't know how I managed without it does a great job much smaller hole to fill, one thing head may make an impression on softer woods I used a strip of gasket material to stop marring.
