It's a good replacement for the original. When my battery failed it started pushing out acid fumes which ate through the terminal ends on the original battery cable. This cable seems to be the exact replacement and fits perfectly.It's a bit of a pain to replace, but that's not the fault of the cable. The cable is routed between the radiator and the frame, and I'm sure it would be a lot easier to install during assembly, when the drive train isn't in place... but that's not the fault of the cable or the cable supplier. It seems to be a good product. My car starts reliably now.Thanks

I bought both the negative and the positive. Install is straight forward. Cables matched the ones I took out perfectly. The only thing is now I have a battery light on in the dash. Not sure if it is the cables or not. Both battery and alternator are new. I seem to think the cables have nothing to do with it. Anyways I would purchase again if needed but do not think I will have the vehicle long enough to do it again.

After a new battery install at a Walmart. My battery cable was damaged. The dealership took 4 hours to test the system and tell me the cost to replace the positive battery cable installed in my car was $400.... Yes. $400. They explained the cable was $160 and install with all fees would be about $240... This cable was $40... it took me about 2 hours to get it installed because the connection to the starter is VERY HARD TO GET TO... Has worked well.
