Sterilization for you pump parts
Before you use your breast pump for the first time, you'll need to prepare by sterilizing all parts that come in contact with breast milk. This includes the breast shields, diaphragms, duckbill valves, bottles, bottle caps, and nipples. Use your Zomee Microwave Sterilization Bags for this first time sterilization and every time you clean your pump parts.
Please do not wash your pump motor, tubes, tubing dock/side selector, or diaphragm cap covers. They do not come in contact with breast milk, and getting them wet may damage your breast pump.
Are Zomee pump parts dishwasher safe?
We always recommend hand washing your pump parts whenever possible. All Zomee breast pump parts and accessories are BPA-Free and can go through the dishwasher, microwave, and steam sterilizer without worry of harmful residue. Keep in mind that this will cause them to wear down more quickly. Do not wash silicone parts like diaphragms and duckbill valves in the dishwasher. These parts are delicate and should be hand washed.

I purchased these to help me clean my breast pump parts faster than the Baby Brezza bottle sterilizer I have. Good thing I did because out of nowhere, the Baby Brezza stopped working and now only dries, it doesn't sterilize. Upon opening the box, I realized there were actually 7 of them, not 5 like it was supposed to have. I am definitely not complaining about that, 40% more for free is fantastic!I do however, have a few issues with these bags. The first one is the slider that opens and close the bags is pretty cheap and falls off the bag all the time. Luckily, I can put it right back on, even if that's easier said than done sometimes. Or I can even leave it off and just use my fingers to close it and pull it open. The main thing I have an issue with is the fact the first bag I used separated from the zipper after a few uses, leaving a hole. I tried my best to patch the hole with tape every time I used it, but due to the location of the hole, it was difficult to do because it prevented the slider from moving freely back and forth. This would have been a bigger problem for me had I not received the 2 extra bags. I feel like the amount of uses I lost due to the hole was more than made up for with the extra uses from the extra bags.One thing I do want to mention is make sure you aren't overfilling the bags! Even if you don't have any trouble closing it, it might still be too full. Fill it until there is plenty of extra space at the top to close it and you still have room to freely move everything around inside. If you don't, the zipper will pop open while in the microwave and the contents won't be properly sterilized.I don't normally give a lot of 3-star reviews, but I feel like that's the perfect number for this item. They work the way they are intended to most of the time, as long as you don't over-fill them and you are gentle when using the slider to open and close them. The flaws I mentioned can be somewhat overlooked due to receiving 2 extra bags, although I have no idea if that was just a one-off and I got lucky, or if they all come with extra.

I really like these microwave steam sterilizing bags by Zomee! I have found them well-designed and easy to use.The instructions are written right on thr bag so since I forget how long to microwave at different microwaves. I like that there is a steam hole on the side and it is clearly marked.The zipper zips securely.I really like that they can be used 20 times I especially love how you cam check off which use your on for easily remembering which one your on.These are so much more portable and convenient than the steam sterilize system I have. Great for the office and travel.I give this product 5 out of 5 stars. The oy like hiccup I have had is the zipper on one end sometimes pops up making it so you stop zipping but you just put it neck down and keep going. Not a big deal. Happy with this product and the convenience it brings :)

When my baby was in the NICU, we used the Dr Brown's bags and they worked great. These work just as well as the Dr Brown's bags, but I think I like these even better. Sterilizer bags are a must have if you are pumping, but you can also use them to sterilize bottle parts, pacifiers, and small teething toys.

Pumping is already a job in itself and it's even more tiring when you're constantly washing bottles at WORK. This makes things easier and I feel that it's more sanitary than washing your pump parts at a common sink at work. Can't wait to bring these bags on trips as well

I typically purchase the Munchkin sterilizer bags so I am comparing these Zomee Microwave Steam Sterilizer Bags to them. These are very similar to the standard size Munchkin bags with two big differences - these bags are larger than the Munchkin, which I like, and the closure for these bags is a zipper, which I don't like as much. It took me a few tries to get the hang of the zipper... I'm ok with it now, but I definitely didn't seal a couple of bags correctly and the zipper popped off a few times before I got the hang of it. Now that I have overcome the issues with the zipper, I'm happy with these bags but I do miss the closures on the Munchkin bags. Price-wise I think this is a good value. Since the bags are larger, you can fit more bottles in each time.
