I like my crashes to be bright and to cut through when needed. This fits the bill for me. I have a Sabian B8 Pro 14" thin crash and needed something to compliment it, with an affordable price. I love the tone of this Zildjian S 15" thin crash! I was a little skeptical when one of the sellers had it brand new for around half the cost of others but it was as described... brand new and shiny... no blemishes or any signs of use and packaged well!

This series S Zildjian is a very good cymbal.Great sound, thin and it appears well made.This was my first S and I can tell you worth the money over the I series.The I series works for me because they are a lot cheaper but I don't play gigs, basically play with friends.But if you have extra money the S series is worth that extra cash.

This cymbal wasn't exactly what I was expecting but turned out to be what I needed. There are a lot of good sounds coming from this one, from a nice clean "ting" to a big crash and a good wash. I do recommend this for someone looking for a versatile cymbal with a big sound.

For the price, I'm not sure it can be beat. Has a nice break when struck, much like higher end cymbals. It does have more of a dark crash sound than a bright tone. It does work really well with the 18" med thin S crash. I bought the S performance package and this crash to use during practice to extend the life of my working cymbals but, I might consider taking these out as well. Good quality, inexpensive cymbals!

The S-line of cymbals are a great sounding cymbals. For the money they can't be beat.

Although it took 2 exchanges, the 3rd cymbal finally arrived undamaged. If Amazon wants to be taken seriously as a vendor or musical instruments, it needs to do a better job of packaging these items. The first 2 cymbals showed up cracked.I've been using this cymbal for a couple of weeks and although I really wanted the 20" crash, I could not pass up the sale on this 18". I used to play Sabian, but now pretty much only play Dream and Paiste cymbals. I picked up this Zildjian crash based on the great reviews I've seen regarding the sound and decay after it's been hit. I have to say I'm really impressed with the S line Zildjian has created.I've read that they are very similar to the old K's and even the 2002 Paiste, and I would tend to agree. Quite a score at this price point if you enjoy the sound of those old cymbals.I was also very happy how the cymbal blended in with my existing Dream and Paiste set up. I would recommend this cymbal. I'll eventually grab the 20".Update*** I ended up getting the 20” Thin Crash and it’s awesome. Having the 18” and 20” as part of my live setup has really added a nice variety, and they blend so well together. These are really great cymbals at this price point.

Ziljian es un nombre de respeto. Este producto es de sonido brillante y muy buen crash. Tu oido no te mientirá. La serie S ofrece un respetable costo beneficio. Como baterista amateur, que lo practica como placer, este producto agregó muchísimo brillo y poder en el sonido a los remates del Crash. Ampliamente recomendado.

The Zildjian reputation carries a lot of expectation & a lot to live up to. If you get this for under a 100 quid you are still getting value for money. You can hit it with brushes or with a spare bass pedal hammer and you will receive some entertaining resonance... (((( )))) Consider it an investment,,, just buy it. Don't waste your money on cheaper garbage.. nothing compares 2u when it comes to cymbals
