What I liked/loved:It's very well made. The back portion which controls incline/decline seems very stable. The rod is thick, and the latches it falls into do not leave ANY room for slipping during load which gives me a peace of mind. The chair also arrived 90% assembled, and everything was really intuitive to put together. The diagram basically explained/showed everything. They even include real tools (an actual wrench) which I thought was pretty cool.Overall it looks very well made, the paint looks solid, the stitching looks solid, and it doesn't look like they cut many corners (maybe some plastic pieces but whatever) in construction.I have one small issue, and one slightly larger one. The small issue is that it was shipped via USPS, which did not bring it to my 3rd floor apartment, it said "deliver attempted" but I googled online and in some complexes they don't even try. So during a pandemic, when I ordered online, I had to go to the post office to pick it up in person...was kinda annoyed by that, but that's at least on part on USPS.The second, and arguably more relevant matter to the product, is that the front legs are incredibly narrow. If used correctly it will pose no problems...but I know on larger benches I've pushed myself with larger weights to the point of failure, and one arm starts to drop, sorta tilting me. I worry in that scenario the chair may tilt, though to be fair it's less likely because the rear legs are adequately wide...the front legs really should be a few inches wider imo. With ALL THIS SAID, I am very happy with the product. I would recommend them to others. I would rate this 4.5 stars if I could, but I am not going to round that down to 4 in light of all the other things that this chair excels it. If I were grading it, I'd give it an A- .....really good for the price, and I did a fair bit of research before ordering, so I'm not sure what I could have gotten that looked more stable/better made. Everything more stable was substantially more expensive (Like $300-500) OR it was the same price and it looked really poorly made.If you're on the fence, and you have a limited budget, I think this gives you a lot of bang for your buck...just...exercise caution.

This bench is very sturdy. Some of the reviews comment how hard it is to get it to the flat position. Another reviewer showed how to easily do this (I suggest you watch that video).Assembly is straightforward. They do include tools but I think you're better off using a 17mm ratchet/socket and wrench to save yourself some pain. The bench height when flat is about 16.5 inches. I like this height because I'm short and this low height allows me to flatfoot during a bench press. There is a gap between the two cushions. The gap is just under 3 inches. While some reviewers have made note of this, I do NOT notice the gap. Here's why.... when I bench press, my butt is on the bottom cushion. Proper form for a bench press requires you to arch your back. When i do this, my back is not in contact with the gap. So this is a non-issue for me. When the bench is used in any inclined position, the gap is non-existent.The bench is very stable. Not only do I do various exercises that this bench is designed for (e.g. bench press, inclined bench press, etc), I also stand on it to reach my pull up bar. I also vertical step-ups onto it. I feel very safe standing on it.This bench suits my needs perfectly!

Overall I like it, there are a few issues, I don't find it uncommon while reading many of the reviews for this and other benches sold on Amazon. The Good: Easy to Assemble, My bench looked clean, no marked flaws or defects.Sturdy, stable, Nice Features. (but please read further so I can explain). Nice LookingBench, Very Easy Assembly, instruction booklet was pretty easy to follow, don't thinkI really needed it to complete assembly. The nice thing is the hex tools, and wrench neededto assemble the bench came with it, so I didn't have to pull out my tools to assemble thebench. The Bad: I think the Vinyl used for covering is on the cheap side, I can see that withheavy used it will probably end up wearing out. (of course I could recover it whenthat happens). The Vinyl is no horrible but I'd say its a 3.5 out of 5. Big Problem wason of the Bolts and Lock nuts were missing in the package, so I could not fully assemblethe Adjustable Tube to the bench. So I could just test it I used on of the other bolts forthe bench to see how it fit. Though there are nice features, using this for decline presses isgoing to be problematic because there is no Foot Holder so you can ensure you're notgoing to slide around or slide of the bench when doing decline presses. The gap between theseat and the adjustable part of the bench is a little bother some, but you could stuff foam in thegap when doing flat bench exercises Oh... on thing that really bothered me was that they just threwnuts and bolts and assembly tools in the box loose, they were rattling around in the box. wouldhave been much better if they had bagged all the bolts for assembly in a bag, or even the pouch that came for the assembly tools.Bottom Line: If there were an option to give this 4.5 Stars I would. If there were a Foot Holder, I'dgive it a 5/5. As far as customer service goes, we will see, I need a replacement bolt and lock nutto complete the assembly. Time will tell how customer service is, I'll update my review after I havea real chance to do some exercises on the bench once I can find the Bolts. Unfortunately I went tomy Lowes and Home Depot and they don't have the proper sized Hex bolts to complete the assembly.Bottom Line: Overall pretty happyBottom Line: I pretty much got what I expected. It seems sturdy,
