Bought this as a Christmas gift. My son is just getting into basketball, and we got this for the driveway. It wasn't hard to put together, and he (11) can adjust the height up and down himself. We live near Chicago, and it has held up during three snow storms now without toppling. Overall, it's been a great buy.

I really don't flame too many products but the flame thrower is coming for this... thing. Just put it together for my kids. They bought it with their own money so it was a budget purchase. Not an easy assembly job but well enough considering the price point. If you're not handy find a handy friend or two for assembly.Moved the unit with the bottom EMPTY out to the street where it will live. Filled with water. Five minutes later the bottom is leaking out all of the water. No way it is fixable. Insert a stream of not so child friendly expletives here...I'll place three 80 pound bags of concrete on the base and see if that holds it sufficiently. I was going to do that anyway as it is not that sturdy with the base full. Not sure the volume the base holds but I doubt it is 10 gallons. 10 gallons of water is roughly 80 pounds. Hopefully 3 x 80# does the trick. I am concerned of this falling over and braining some kid. We'll see if this is juts judged a total failure and gets the hacksaw treatment or if I extend the base a bit and anchor it in concrete.@#$$@$@%^@%^%@!!!!!! Oh well, first world problems I suppose.

My kids (7 and 10) are having a blast with their new hoop. The directions and assembly were straightforward and it’s a quality product that is holding up well. Highly recommend!

This is strong and so far resilient for my very tall teenage grandsons. My sonspent quite a while reading the reviews for the different brands and comparing prices. He chose well.

Was learly on a no name basket ball net as my son is almost 6 feet but it's very tall and with some added weight in the base it works good !

You get what you pay for the price. You cannot expect an NBA product for this price, right? My kids love it, yes the plastic in the bottom looks very cheap, but I’ve had it for over 6 months outside my garage enduring snow, rain and sun; and it’s still in perfect condition. No rust, the colors of the board are intact, and it’s pretty steady.

Within 2 months, the ring rusted and then broke. was not the simplest to put together, but we managed in the end. All the other reviews about the durability of the base are all true ... the plastic is cheap and splits easily. Spend more money and get a decent one (nice one at Costco for 599 at the moment). Just save your money and dont buy this piece of junk.
