I got these for my wife, and she likes the design, especially in the ankle area. They look nice, but are maybe a bit thinner than she expected, making them only moderately comfortable. They are fine if you need really thin socks, however.

These are nicely made and feel very soft. I wore them for half the day with no issues. I find that a good sock is one that you don't notice because if a sock causes problems, the longer you wear them, the more they tend to irritate or hurt. These, I put on and forgot about them. Always a good sign!I think they shrunk a bit in the wash, which is good because that means they are at least partially cotton. I think they do stretch back out and they are very stretchy. I wear a size 6 and they fit me perfectly. (see pics) So they might be a bit loose on a size 5 and probably just right for a size 7 also. As you get into the 8's and 9's, they might become a bit see-through in the toe area, but probably will still be comfortable, but honestly, since I am not a size 8 or 9, I can't really say. So you would need to wait for a larger sized foot to wear these. : )These go to just above the ankle and they stay up with no problem.I won't comment on price because I didn't shop around and frankly, I think socks in general are robbery, but that's just me. : )
