Love that these are small enough and 'food grade' to fit prescription bottles, jewelry boxes, etc. Living in "humid central" all silica gel sizes and forms are welcome and worth it!

I don't know why I got the bright idea to try these but I am so glad I did. I also bought a camping seasoning set, 6 little metal shakers each with 3 sized of holes. Anyone who has ever gone camping knows moisture will RUIN your spices. So I got a small bag of these for the camping tins. Worked great. In comparison to the "cheapo" disposable salt and pepper shakers I took as well the salt was ruined by the next morning even being stored in plastic bag and packed in a tote, all the spices with these little gems stayed dry. They were in the metal tins in a canvas bag in the tote. It may have been the bags, but I'm leaning towards these little silicone packs. I normally take them out of my pill bottles and add them to the huge spice containers at home. And lemon pepper now last much longer and doesn't turn mustard yellow.

We live in Florida, where it’s always humid. My salt and spices kept getting clumpy and unusable. Once I started using these air absorbers, we’ve had no clumpy salt. That makes for a much more enjoyable dinner table! No more tapping the salt shaker on the table, annoying mom. No more bringing out the spice grinder to regrind my garlic powder!

Great size for average sized medication bottles. About a half inch diameter- the size found in a 50-ct bottle. A large container like a vitamin bottle would need a 3 gram or larger.
