The seat worked perfectly in the 1979 Viking deck boat my husband rebuilt and refurbished. It matches. It's not a soft and cushy seat but it feels sturdy and is good for fishing.

We also bought a swivel (separate purchase) and mounted the seat to the swivel then to the boat seat. The swivel allows me to turn all the way around. Great for when you're in the front with the tackle box behind you. I feel like first-class now. I had issues not lasting too long on seat cushions. This supports my back and makes fishing so much more enjoyable.
