These scissors works well in the kitchen. I have cut pizza (so much easier than using a pizza cutter) and other items with these scissors. They have a comfy handle. Easy to clean.

Most scissors are not made for left-handed people, requiring southpaws to pull outward with their thumbs to apply the same pressure that righties do naturally, so my ultimate test of how sturdy a pair of scissors are is to just use them without doing that annoying method.Most scissors fail (the blades separate and the item to be cut just bends between the blades), but these ones pass with flying colors. In fact, I can't get them to perform any differently whether I'm pushing with my thumb or pulling as hard as I can. It's hard to describe, but these shears are amazing. They have such a simple job, but it's amazing how often cheap tools can mess that up.The handles are big enough for even my big hands, they're very comfortable to use, and even though I haven't used the herb stripper yet, the other tools are handy to have as well.Given the price, these are way sturdier than I would have expected, and these shears have replaced both the other 2 pairs I had in my drawer. It's kind of weird to be so happy about a pair of scissors, but not having to do dumb uncomfortable hand tricks to make shears work is amazing. I love these things.

I was thinking that the scissors would cut better at the tip on things that are more sheer as in not very thick. They seem to work great more towards the back of the blade.

I'm impressed by the quality of Westcott's Titanium-Bonded Kitchen Shears. The large handles are easy to grip, and the cutting action is extremely smooth. These shears have heavy duty heft while still being able to accommodate fine tasks. For a pair of simple shears, they would already be a solid value at $9.75, but they also incorporate a bottle opener, herb stripper as well as a nutcracker. So cool to be multipurpose! I did notice that when using the bottle opener, the shears need to be opened up in order to accommodate the bottle lid, which is slightly awkward, but gets the job done.

These scissors are sharp and feel well made and substantial. My only complaint is that they don't fully come apart like some other brands of kitchen shears that allow for easy cleaning.

These shears are comfortable to grip, slice cleanly and without much resistance, and overall build quality is excellent.
