Made from centuries old, time tested ingredients historically used to preserve furniture, including Tung Oil, Safflower Oil, and Hemp Seed Oil. The addition of Carnauba Wax, Candelilla Wax, and Pine Rosin provides a strong sealer that naturally preserves the beauty of hardwoods.
Easy Application
1. Sand between 220 - 600 grit
2. Apply thin layer of finish
3. Wipe away excess after 24 hrs

Furniture Butter is for Any Woodworking Project
Simply wipe on, let it set, then buff off any residue. The more coats the better, but generally 1 or 2 coats is all you'll need. Since it's VOC-free and 100% food-safe, you can use it indoors (no need to open the windows) and it's suitable for literally any project, from table tops, chairs, to baby cribs and more.

This is so thick and rich. It was very easy to apply. I started with a thick coat, onto an unfinished wooden coffee table, to sit overnight to soak in. And removed whatever excess was left by morning. It works very well and leaves a Beautiful finish.

Easy to work with, high quality product. I have use this, the cutting board oil and wax. All have been great. Customer service is great as well. I reached out with questions and got quick answers.

The first container I received came in a ziplock bag with the lid knocked loose and about 15-20% of the product all over the place. It was a pain to clean up, but since this product is completely plant based it didn’t really bother as much as it would have if it was made with harsh chemicals. It seems to have been a problem with the shipping though, so I can’t really blame the product for that. Either way, the seller quickly sent a brand new container of the product for no extra charge and even allowed me to keep the previous container with the left over walrus oil. I would’ve been happy with just a discount on a new container, so I’m extremely happy with customer support. The new container arrived just a few days later in a box that was properly labeled, “HANDLE WITH CARE. FRAGILE LIQUID.” The can itself was also securely fitted in the box along with plenty of packing paper that allowed for very little movement. I know all of this has absolutely nothing to do with the product itself, but I feel that companies that go above and beyond with the their customer support deserve to be praised.As for the product itself, it works great and it’s extremely quick to apply to any type of furniture that you may not want the harshest of chemicals to be used on for whatever reason. I’ll try to update this review after a bit of time to comment on durability, but honestly like I said, it’s so quick to apply, I doubt it will be much of a problem. I can say with confidence that I’ll be using more of this stuff in the future.

I have been applying this over bare wood, stained wood and previously varnished/lacquered wood for over a year now. It puts a nice sheen on bare wood and actually touches up previously finished wood by covering scratches and imperfections. And, it doesn't have an obnoxious odor like varnish and lacquer. You just have to be patient to let it soak and set-up before wiping off and buffing.

I use this on the charcuterie boards i make and it speaks in nicely and leave a good feel on the wood. Just follow directions and don't forget to reapply it about every couple months of you frequently use the board.
