The tip worked great. Only problem was guy dropped the gun and broke the tip. Wished it was metal.

I purchased two of these for a large siding job, both broke Within days. The plastic used is weak and low grade. In cold and hot conditions, both failed in similar fashion. I ended up buying one from a Canadian company, very expensive, but very reliable and well made.

The best item I have purchased for my dewalt gun. Works amazing, no more sore fingers from hand nailing, gives the perfect spacing foe the nail, light, easy to install, gives good adjustments, great value for the price!

I installed about 18 square of siding with this with no problems except I went through five tips because sometimes the nail will come out of the gun and hit a solid object like a sheathing nail and when the nail that comes out of the gun recoils it will break the tip off of the the gun. No installation instructions, but once you figure out all you need to do is take the spring out of your gun. It works well. If you have a big project I would recommend buying a half a dozen of these things. Too bad they are not made out of cast metal like the factory tip. I would pay $100 for the increased speed of installation if it was made from metal. Typical cheap Chinese crap

Have to take existing head off the gun and it’s not easy to do. These things are cheap plastic and break easy also. And if you want to go back to roofing nailer have to take it all apart again to switch it back…

This attaches to the Dewalt roofing gun with no problems. It allows nail not to be set as deep. I am using it for installing tile backer.
