My mother-in-law’s frig had the problem with the interior light rapidly flashing like a strobe light. The top light apparently controlled the other lights. I read on an appliance repair forum that replacing the top light would fix the entire set. I used the model # on the data plate inside to find a parts list, and the part # of the light fixture. On some appliance repair sites, the light fixture was priced in the $150-$200 range. The part snaps into place, and by looking at the new part, you can see where to press the light fixture to release it. It will drop down, and then you can unclip the wire connector. The old part was out and the new one in place in less than five minutes. As soon as the new wire connect, the new light started working perfectly.
