The material is soft and a bit stretchy. Mine was a little undersized, but it still fits comfortably. Maybe I need to eat a few less donuts so it will fit better. My only real concern was that it took two months to be delivered, which is way too long to wait for clothing. I had already purchased another shirt while waiting for this, and then completely forgot I had ordered it until it showed up on my doorstep. It's okay, though, because once it did, I was happy to have it. The color looks great, and so far hasn't faded. The fabric has a nice, thick quality feel, which will make it good to wear in the colder months.

This thing is really nice, I like to wear it even when not working. Thick cloth makes it a great winter shirt, and it breathes surprisingly well for a flame-proof shirt. Haven't had any molten metal fall on it yet, but I definitely feel confident using it, and even feel confident wearing it to social events - again it looks nice!

I'm just starting as a hobby welder, and I got this shirt both for that purpose and just as a nice general-purpose henley. The shirt is sturdily built and feels great.My one complaint is that it's a relatively snug fit. I'm 6'2" and a little under 200 lbs, and the sleeves are a good length for me (before washing, anyway), but the body fits tighter than I'd normally want a shirt to fit. I can still move my arms around pretty well, although a fuller cut through the chest and shoulders would be better.Maybe an XL is the right size for me. If this shirt shrinks in the wash (it says not to machine dry), then my son gets it. All good either way.

I do the occasional welding and have ruined normal shirts because of the spatter from the MIG welder, so when I saw this I thought I would give it a try. It looks like any other normal long-sleeve t-shirt; I ordered a medium and this fits about how I would expect it. With a 36" chest and 32" waist, I have room to spare, but it's not huge. I'm 5'10 and the sleeves are the right length, but any taller and I think they'd feel a little short.I'm not entirely clear on what makes this flame resistant, other than the fact that it's made from 100% cotton rather than a cotton/poly blend which might melt. Maybe the cotton has been treated somehow, but nothing on the shirt's labels indicate that. That said, the fabric is heavier than the typical t-shirt fabric, the stitching is nice and consistent, and it's labeled as being UL and NFPA flame resistant. I can see this being a nice protective layer for errant spatter, but given it's still just a shirt, I wouldn't rely on it alone for protection in more extreme situations.It would be nice if they included information indicating how the flame resistance was accomplished and whether any special care is required to maintain that flame resistance.

No, I have not tested this shirt for fire resistance. I hope not to. That said, this is one of the nicest henley's I've seen. Nice material that's a little thicker and a lot better looking than regular old cotton henleys. The sewing is very good. I did not find any messed up seams or stitches. The shirt arrived without loose threads. Loose threads seems like a minor thing, functionally it is minor, but it's a sign that they cared to clean things up before shipping. That's a good thing.

3x was very large on me in most spots but the arm length was good, and really liked the length of the body. The arms were large on me. I would have expected the chest diameter to be a little bigger but wasn't. I worry if I had gotten the correct size it would have been very restrictive on me.With that I'm glad I got the 3x as it felt good and is plenty of shirt. I'll definitely wear this on the job sites this winter. The material feels soft, and the color is pretty decent.
