It took me about 1/2 hour to put this on, and I'm old and slow. It was easy work, the cover fits perfectly, and it looks neat. I gave it five stars for the ease of installation and the good look. I haven't driven the vehicle with the cover on yet, but It's going to snow tonight, and the roads will be wet and slushy tomorrow. I'll let you know if it keeps the worst of it out. I put this on 1/19/25 and took it through a no touch car wash a week later - very high pressure, and NO leaks; The bed was bone dry. I would have been OK with a couple of small leaks, but there were no leaks.

2023 Nissan Frontier S (73.3") bed. I had been putting off installation because I have had folding hard covers installed on all my previous pickups. They are heavy requiring 2 people to lift & align properly, plus take time to fasten securely. This Tyger folding vinyl cover quality is very top notch and ease of installation amazing. I unboxed it and only required a Phillips screw driver to install. Was light weight enough to handle alone. Will keep the snow out & be easy to remove next summer. I am impressed and price was very reasonable.

I ordered this tonneau for my 2012 Nissan Frontier short bed. Based on the reviews, I knew fairly well what I was getting. That said, I had to do a bit of MacGyvering to get it to work right, sit flat and keep the water/rain out of the bed. There's no way mine would do this right of the box.First off, a review of the hardware quality:Cheap. But you probably already know that. When you buy the least expensive tonneau on Amazon, you ain't getting brushed stainless steel and aircraft grade aluminum, you get plastic! Be gentle with the hardware. Don't over-tighten things or wrench on things or you'll bend and brake them. That said, the hardware is plenty strong enough to solidly hold the tonneau on at freeway speeds. The InstallKeeping it flat:In order to keep the back tonneau corners flat and touching the bed (which they won't do out of the box), I had to unscrew the tonneau's holddown crossbar, slide it toward the rear of the tonneau by about 4" then re-screw it to the side frames. This requires a drill/driver and a #2 Philips bit for those who are interested. The screws are self-drilling and the frame is aluminum so it's actually pretty easy. Moving the crossbar (and hold down points) also moves the holding pressure toward the middle of the panel. This keeps the rear of the panel flat on the bed. Why they didn't design it this way in first place is beyond me. The original position is way to close to the panel hinge, putting hardly any pressure on the back of the panel.Sealing it to the bed:The side seals work great (I have plastic bed edges). The problem is at the front. The front bed edge is about 1/4" lower than the sides. This means there's a gap between the front bed edge and the tonneau seal. No beuno. Fortunately, the kit coms with 1" wide foam, adhesive back weather stripping meant to somehow (according to the instructions) seal the tailgate. This thought is pure lunacy since there's simply no way to seal the sides of the tailgate with weather stripping. I put it to better use: I cut it in half lengthwise giving me two long 1/2" wide strips. I stick the strips, one on top of the other, onto the front bed edge, giving me a nice even surface, and leveling it with the side edges for the tonneau to sit on. Turns out the tonneau is about 1/2" too short to sit perfectly on top of the weather stripping, but it does work because it butts up next to it, keeping water out.The Tailgate:With the last scraps of weather stripping, I filled the gap between the top edges of the tailgate and the bed. This gave an even surface for the rear of the tonneau to sit on. My truck is dark grey so you don't even notice the black weather stripping. I did not bother trying to seal the tailgate sides. The results:Terrific!! Just spent a weekend in the mountains with tons of heavy rain and snow! All the gear in the back stayed nice and dry. It is not perfect because some moisture still gets in around the tailgate, but not enough to matter or worry about. The tonneau also looks good. Stitching is even, seams are nice. Vinyl (or whatever it is) is taught and even across the bed. I'm a huge fan of truck bed versatility and this tonneau gives me exactly that.Oh, and that stupid little LED bed-light they give you as a bonus? Turns out it's useful! I stuck it to the left inside edge of the bed, facing the front, and it actually lights up the bed well enough to see in at night. Whodathought? All in all, I don't regret the purchase. I'm a DIY guy so making the mods didn't bother me. I put in some work but saved some $$$. For those expecting perfect fit and function right out of the box? Well, you roll the dice on this one. Some reviewers say yes, some say no. If you're prepared to do a little MacGyvering, get it and spend those extra frog-skins on beer as you celebrate your stylie and functional new tonneau!

I was skeptical of the price and quality until I got this cover. It took about 35 minutes by myself to install and adjust after reading the instructions and watching a few videos on Youtube. It looks great and at 6 months it still looks great. I like that I can open it by pulling the cable on either side of the truck with one hand and it rolls up great. I did notice a slight bump in gas mileage sine installing it as I track my millage with the Car Care app. I live in NE Ohio and we had a mild winter but we did get 2 storms where 6 inches of snow was on this cover with no damage. It held up to small hail just fine too. When tighten properly and the Velcro edges are pulled tight it won't flap in the wind and is water tight so far. I haven't tested it for dust yet. This fits and mounts to the side rails on a 2016 Nissan Frontier SV 4x4 with the short 5 foot bed and the utili-track system. It does come with the mounts to secure to the utili-track, but I opted not to use those mounts as it interferes with the usability of the utili-track system. I intead used the other included mount to attach it directly to the truck bed rails. This works fine and all the weather seals are included with the cover. I did purchase a separate seal for the tailgate sides and bottom. With the cover down and latched you can lock the Frontier's tailgate to secure cargo. At 6 months the durability is still prefect. Everything works, nothing is stretching out too much with the heat, rain or snow. This cover looks great and for the price I think it's a great deal.

I didn’t want to spend $1200 on a tonneau cover. My brother recommended this one. $200 and it fits great. Easy install, took me 15 min. I don’t keep anything valuable in my bed so I don’t need security and I park it in the garage. If someone wanted to cut into it they could but like I said not a concern of mine. It’s sturdy and fits great. It came with a foam strip for the bulkhead and one for the tailgate. I didn’t need the tailgate one so I have a free piece of foam strip so score one for me.

I have a 2009 Frontier with an extend-a-bed rack and needed to replace my old roll-up cover. Several covers have side rails that mount inside the pick-up box which do not allow the extend-a-bed rack to left up and swing into place. The Tyger roll-up cover side rails mount flush with the inside of pick-up box rails so the extend-a-bed rack deploys without interference. Very happy with the ease in which the cover installed and I like the functionality of the roll up. The velcro seals nice and tight along the sides. The truck has been in heavy rain and no leaks. The cable release system to open the cover works well. Good value for the price.

If you're installing this on the same truck as I have, the locks are supposed to be on the middle part. Tested it on the highway and I can't hear a thing(weather strip installed). The only con:The weather strip doesn't seem to do the job as I noticed some leaks even after installing it as per the instructions, hopefully they come up with a different option or find yourself a different strip. I'd recommend installing it on the cover itself as the front side of the Frontier's bed is too thin for the strip.
