As titled, this is perfect for our small shore crab! (She has a shell diameter ~1-1.5”.) It is thoughtfully designed and of pretty good quality. It did not come with any instructions, but I didn’t have trouble figuring out which-goes-where. A sponge filter came in the bottom of the plant basket, but I’m buying some activated carbon pellets to put in there to keep the water clean. I like the small light too, which can serve as a cute little night light for the habitat. Overall, very happy I found this habitat for our crabby (after searching high and low)!!

I would give it five stars, but it only brings one filter and one small water pump that I wasn't sure how to assemble due to the fact that it brings no instructions. It also brings one small weak light that runs on batteries, meaning if you use the light too much or leave it on for too long it'll obviously die, and it's not the regular double or triple A batteries that the light takes, it's one of the round ones that's hard to find. The light is also not a heating light that the turtles need. Doesn't bring no decorations, so don't be fooled by the pictures. But both my turtle like it, and it's not too big, it's perfect size to have on top of a table or desk. But now I have to buy after spending $40.59 plus shipping for all the decorations and filters.

This is the perfect desk tank - love the little faucet/ waterfall design - nice soothing sound is relaxing - you have to adjust it to not rattle but is easy - bought clay beads to grow my plants

You could MAYBE keep a hatchling baby turtle in here TEMPORARILY. This is in no way a permanent home for anything that grows larger than a guppy. You could house one guppy and two snails in it.However, I have added a 1 gallon glass jar, upside-down, into the hole on the top of this item. Now it is suitable for three guppies and five snails.It is a nice idea, and its made well, but advertising this as a turtle tank is not right. It is about the size of a shoe-box and can look nice on a small table. Plants do well in the hydroponic basket included. The light is a joke however.

My turtle used it for a year till he grew to big for it, now he’s in a 30 gallon tank.
