I should have read other reviews before buying this product. These laces were snapping as I was lacing a customer’s glove. I had to re-lace an entire half of a Trap-eze style pocket because the lace broke as I was tying the knot. I thought it was a fluke. Now the customer has contacted me with multiple broken laces, two weeks after a complete relace. I’ll order new laces from my normal source, and relace the entire glove for free…then I’ll throw the rest of THESE laces in the trash.

This set of black leather glove lacing is just what I was looking for. I picked this product because of the length of the lace as well as the large pack of lace rolls that came in the package. This has worked well for replacing my son's catcher's glove and it has held up much better than some other thinner and lower-quality lacing we have used in the past. I would recommend this lace for baseball or softball gloves. This would also be an economical way to supply lace for other needed activities such as hobbies and such.

I was excited to get quality lace for a budget price. Unfortunately, it was not quality. I took out the first lace and attempted to just straighten the lace…snapped. The lace is very dry, too thick for lacing a glove, and poor quality.

I restring a lot of gloves for baseball and softball players. I ran out of black lace and needed to get enough to restring two gloves, so I gave this product a try. I noticed when I was relacing the gloves, that it was getting snagged as I was pulling it through a few of the holes. These long pieces of lace are basically shorter pieces of leather that are joined together by a diagonal cut and glued together. Both players that I relaced using this product came back to me within two weeks of use with snapped string. There is no way this lace will hold up over a long period of time.

Not all laces are one piece, some are glued together to make a strip of lace. When pulled, it will separate. Wouldn't be safe to use on your baseball glove. The laces that are a single piece of leather is ok.

This leather lace is good quality. It’s very strong even when tugged, twisted and pulled on. There’s quite a bit with 8 rolls and the black color is true to being a solid black pigment. My husband relaces baseball gloves for a living and was happy to use this lacing.

Don’t work at all and pieces are glued together and lace snaps when when lacing do not recommend this product
