Unlike most “streamer boxes”, this one actually has deep foam so you can easily score and organize your streamers. Solid build to it too.

Great streamer box. I didn't want the large briefcase style bugger box because I wanted to be able to store this in my Fishpond waistpack. This got the bill. I can fit more than enough streamers and the long hook suits make it versatile for articulating flies.

Large flies carry well

I really liked everything about this box and it would work really well for freshwater fishing and smaller flies (#4 hooks and smaller). I liked that it is 8 3/8 inches long on the inside for big saltwater streamers tied onto #2/0 hook 1" tall (25 mm)) and 4 inches long (101 mm). The 1/4" thick foam (7 mm) is one long slit allowing you to place your streamers anywhere. BUT it is too shallow. The "thin side" is only 1/4" deep (6 mm). The thick side is only 5/8" deep (16 mm). So I could only put big saltwater flies on the deep side and the foam from the other side still touches that fly. So I'll keep my old black fly box for half the price (deep side is 1 inch (25 mm) and thin side is 1/2 inch (12.5 mm) and keep looking for that perfect fly box for large saltwater flies.
