We have a fleet of trucks that use pnuematics to control different functions. Lots of those lines start at 1/2" or 3/8' NPT and reduce down to 1/4" NPT. These worked out great in an area prone to corrosion and have been working exactly as intended.

I ordered these fittings for my son who has a silly fridge in our garage with various taps on the outside of the fridge. He needed them for the actual taps, specifically for the gauges that sit on top. He has several different size taps requiring different sized fittings. He is stoked as he was able to put the finishing touches on the fridge. Both fittings work great providing the necessary support, nice and tight keeps his gauges in place. The fittings are nice and heavy and threaded well. He had no issues with either one, fit like a charm.

These meet two conditions and is the reason I purchased them. They are indeed tapered NPT fittings and they are rated for 2900PSI. Ill be using these to test the PSI in my pressure washer.Cheers
