I have tried very expensive hop strainers where you put the hops in a wire basket, and it clogs up, it is a mess to clean etc. This looks like a very good inexpensive solution. Some hops will sneak through which is no big deal. I just want to cut the majority out. This screwed right into my pot and I am very pleased with it.
