Confirm that the device matches the size of the connector, align the connector with the hose or device interface that needs to be connected.

Review of Napredak stainless steel 304 reducer adapter pipe fitting, NPT 1/2 female to NPT 3/8 male threaded forged connector for air water gas pipeline, 2900 psi (2 pcs):I ordered these for our tractor’s grapple. I changed the hydraulic quick couplers and the hose needed an adapter from ½” to the 3/8” on the male coupler. Since these are stainless steel, they won’t rust and will stay looking nice. The 2900 psi max pressure gives me more confidence that there won’t be problems down the road. The adapters keep the connections compact with less joints. This means less potential for leaks. In my one photo you can see the excessive plumbing needed to do the same job in the coupler above the new adapter. The new adapters fit perfectly and don’t leak. What more could you ask? I would recommend.

These fittings look and feel high quality. The threads are well machined without any burrs or other defects that I could detect. They all have a sharp ridge and glide into the receiving threads very smoothly.The whole adapter is clearly machined from a solid piece of medium grade 304 stainless steel which makes it ideal for high pressure or corrosive applications. They are especially good for those jobs that require SS for regulatory reasons as well. I just got SS to match the plumbing connections under a sink. It may have been a little overkill but it is reliable.All-in-all, these are a great fittings.
