This was the cheapest resin I could find for our water softener. No idea how you can tell if it’s good besides our water is nice and soft, and no issues. The resin beads were pure, no contaminants or moisture in the bag. Bag was sturdy and no leaks.

This was a nice heavy bag full of resin. Had to replace the head on my six year old water softener and decided to add more resin also and this bag was perfect. Very heavy and solid just pulled the head off and started adding a cup at a time till I could finally lift the bag and just start pouring it in, worked great. Replaced the head and the softener is back in business. Would highly recommend this.

No issues with the media itself but whoever packaged and/or shipped this should be ashamed of themselves. The "box" was received ripped and torn into shreds with gaping holes on all sides. The bits of cardboard were only held in place by packing tape applied somewhere along the journey. Fortunately, the inner plastic bag is quite heavy duty or there would have been no media left in the package.

Hard to put into the resin tank but once filled it certainly worked to knock down the hardness in our well water. It appears to have removed the iron as well. We’ll see how it works in the long term. Our softener tank required about 1.3 bags of resin so be warned.

This is not made for DI systems like stated, it is to fine and leaves the DI system had to buy a filter system. Only lasted around 3 weeks the ppm jumped over night with no warning
