Your cart is empty. Lock Washers help achieve tight assemblies by providing good bolt tension per unit of applied torque, with uniform torque control and even load distribution. These washers perform with a type of spring action created by pressure from a slight spiral or helical form. Upward and downward bent projections on respective sides of the split allow the washer to grasp adjoining materials, which helps prevent components from loosening under vibration or corrosion.
Steels are designated by a 4 number SAE Steel grade. The first two digits indicate the primary materials used to form the steel. The last 2 digits identify the percentage of carbon for the alloy (in hundredths). The steel used in these fasteners has a tensile strength ranging from 100,000 to 150,000 psi (pounds per square inch). Zinc Plating helps to prevent corrosion.

This is the best star washer ever! I bought it to install the grip on an AR15 and boy, is it grippy!!! If this is the project you want to do then, this is the washer YOU NEED! Hey, it's a fricken washer, what the hell am I supposed to say here? It has a lustrious sheen. It wasn't too small or too large.Note: I did not take a micrometer to it to measure the tolerances. Buyer beware, assume at your own risk.

These are quite thin but they are exactly as advertised. Worked well for bolting together MDF panels into pine wood table legs.The pack comes with so many, you can double up if you need to and have plenty left.
