The weight of the fabric is very high quality. This is an all around winner for me. Since it fully unzips, my daughter can wear it as a jacket if she gets cold. Its crazy easy to get on and off because of that. She can also use it as a rash guard that actually works, since the fabric is thicker than normal, and a sun shield. I am excited to see how well it holds up to the wind on the boat. It is shorter than I expected. it is as loose as I would like also. my daughter is 9 but fairly small and the 8-10 size is loose which is perfect. you may want to order up if you have a normal or large sized kid. Also the blue is a brilliant royal/ cobalt even after washings. As an extra detail, they have a zipper cover on the inside so that it doesn't rub her sensitive skin or her suit underneath. I am buying the next size up also, just encase I cant get it later. Amazon gems seem to come and go quickly. I seriously wish they had an adult size. They could only make it better by adding a hoodie and a zipper pocket. This review is totally NOT sponsored, it just great when you can find something that actually works!

Material seems very well made. Once I took it out of the package, it seemed very small. I chose a larger size just to be sure. My child tried it on and the sleeves fit like 3/4 sleeves and the shirt looked like a crop top. Very dissapppointed, will be returning.
